All proceeds from the festival will be used to fund scholarships for students at Roane State Community College, which has eight campuses that serve a nine-county region. A skilled, local work force is critical to the economic growth of this area, and Roane State's scholarship fund was selected as the festival beneficiary because our investment will be so far-reaching. Our last 12 festivals have netted close to $220,000, and these funds have been used to help a number of young people pursue an education that would not have been attainable without our help.
